Heavy-Duty (Drop-In) Ball Transfer Units

part no. BT/CS6030, BT/SS6030, BT/CS6030M, and BT/SS6030M

Our ball transfers simplify the moving of heavy loads. When configured in a pattern they can support loads up to 500 lbs. (226 kg.). For more information on arrangement designs, please contact our technical department.

History has shown that our BTUs are better than other units in the market, because they outlast the competition. Why are our BTUs better than the other Ball Transfers?

Our bearing is a one-piece construction, so there is no internal cup or plate to crack or break. The inside of our hardened cup serves as the race of the bearing and provides a much stronger support for any load. A number of companies favor our BTUs, because of their superior performance in high impact or high volume areas.

Another reason for the popularity of our Ball Transfers Unit is its durability. We have units that have been in service for over four years. A major user of our BTUs ran a comparison test of our BTUs with those of two other major competitors’. 200 Ball Transfers of each manufacturer were placed side by side in a high traffic area. After thirty days, one large manufacturer had 65 failures, the next competitor had 40 failures, but B&T Bearing Inc. had 0 failures. This is a typical result of how competitor BTUs compare to ours.

Our BTUs can be used both indoors and outdoors. We now offer a multi drain-hole unit which allows better elimination of dirt & debris. This new unit has been approved for military use. Models range from zinc plated units to complete stainless steel units. See the matrix below for specifications and details.
